The Wooden Handle Fixed Blade Knife is a compact full tang knife built for camp, water and trail. It measures 16.31 cm overall with a 7.09 cm cutting edge, small enough to sit quietly in a pocket or on a belt yet long enough for real work. The two piece wood handle and the bright satin blade give it a finish that looks far more expensive than the price tag suggests.

Built Around a Full Tang

Look at the knife from above and you can see the full tang steel running the length of the handle between the two wood scales. That is what makes a small knife feel planted in the hand instead of loose. The handle is 13.97 mm thick, so it fills the palm without bulk, and the underside carries a run of notches that give your fingers something to lock onto when your hands are wet or gloved.

A Blade You Can Work With

The blade is D2 steel hardened to 58 to 60 HRC. The spine carries a run of saw teeth toward the tip, which is handy for notching soft wood or scoring material without reaching for a second tool. A finger choil sits above the handle so you can choke up on the blade for close work, and the tail of the handle has a lanyard hole. The knife weighs about 136.7 g including its sheath.

Sheath and Carry

Each knife arrives with a brown leather sheath finished with a copper snap and contrast stitching. The belt loop and snap keep the knife locked in place while you are moving, and the leather softens and shapes itself to the knife with use. It slips onto a belt, into a pack pocket or onto the inside of a bag.
